Adapting a potential battery upgrade for first and second battery life

By identifying hotspots in the cell, module and battery pack areas, the GTA Batt project aims to adapt a potential battery improvement for first and second life while also figuring out how best to limit the effect of temperature on battery age through a cooling system or other technology.

The project also measures cell performance across a number of scenarios which could help pinpoint the best operating conditions for a specific battery
